Training & Consultation Services General Training & Consultation

With our training and consultation service, a 1ShoppingCart client services representative will provide a one-hour, one-on-one training session with the merchant. The merchant will be allowed to invite other attendees, such as staff or virtual assistants, to this training session. The training session will include the following:

  • Draft training call outline based on merchant's needs
  • One-hour long call with 1ShoppingCart client services representative
  • Cover five pre-determined key areas designated by merchant
  • Q & A sessions
  • Additional time available if needed

Training & Consultation is $299 +$199 per hour after first hour. Book your session today.

E-mail Delivery Training

1ShoppingCart offers a one-on-one training package for merchants with an email specialist. During this session, the e-mail specialist will cover the following:

  • Single vs. double opt-in
  • How the email looks to the client/customer
  • How often should you mail?
  • Delivering what you promise
  • Personalizing subject lines
  • Cover specific questions submitted by merchant prior to call
  • Q & A

Email Delivery Training is $299 +$199 per hour after first hour.

Email Best Practices Training & Consultation

1ShoppingCart offers a one-on-one, email best practices training session for merchants with an email specialist. During this session, the email specialist will cover the following:

  • Single vs. double opt-in
  • Tips for creating a customer opt-in message
  • Why CAN-SPAM is the only minimum that you need
  • How to be a good neighbor in the email community
  • Welcome e-mail tips
  • Cover specific questions submitted by merchant prior to call
  • Q & A

Email Best Practices Training is $299 +$199 per hour after first hour.

Handling SPAM Complaints Training

1ShoppingCart offers a one-on-one, training session for merchants looking to learn more about handling SPAM complaints. During this session, the email specialist will cover the following:

  • Single vs. double opt-in
  • Why do my message generate complaints
  • Using URLs in email messages
  • Where to go if my domain is blacklisted
  • How much is too much?
  • Cover specific questions submitted by merchant prior to call
  • Q & A

Handling SPAM Complaints Training is $299 +$199 per hour after first hour.

Domain Watch & Clean-up

The success of your email marketing depends on clean domains and lists. 1ShoppingCart offers a monitoring and clean-up service which checks daily for blacklisting and blocking, as well as provide tips and coaching on prevention and relisting.

Domain Watch
  • Monitor three to five domains to monitor for blacklisting
  • Daily checks of domains with various listing agencies
  • Notification of blocks and blacklisting
  • Advice on how to clear listings and tips to prevent in future

Domain Clean-up
  • Attempt to clear and relist against affected domains
  • Coaching on how to change mailing practices to avoid future blocks

1ShoppingCart reserves the right to terminate the contract if, after repeated notifications, the merchant refuses to change their mailing practices or follow provided advice.

This service is $25 per month.

Client Database Clean-up

Over time, a mailing list can get bogged down with incorrect e-mail addresses, consumers who have lost interest, and more. Cleaning up an e-mail list does many things. First, it helps increase delivery rates. Second, a cleaner list results in more targeted, effective e-mails. Finally, a list containing only clean addresses will ensure only qualified prospects and customers are included. 1ShoppingCart offers a client database clean-up service that does the following:

  • Sending of second chance opt-in email
  • Advice on how to create a custom opt-in message
  • After two weeks of second chance opt-in email, bounced, off mailing list, and removed clients will be deleted from database
  • Advice on how to maintain list

The first step to cleaning up the client database will require the Second Chance Opt-in to be sent. The Merchant will receive advice on creating a Custom Opt-in message that would entice clients to confirm. After approximately two weeks (depending on the database size) the bounced, off mailing list, and removed clients would be deleted from the data.
