| Can I pass Order Form info directly to my ‘Thank You’ page?
Yes. You can!
With the exception of credit card information, everything else your customers enter on your Order Form is passed to your ‘Thank You’ page and can be captured from there!
Because of security risks, this information is never posted to a regular HTML page, but you can easily use either a .php or an .asp landing page to accomplish this.
Once you’ve setup a .php or .asp landing page our system will automatically post Order information to it, so you won’t have to do anything else!
Cool, But Why Would I Want To Post Order Info To My ‘Thank You’ Page?
There are many reasons and benefits to utilizing the Order data immediately, but they all revolve around superior shopping cart integration and providing your customers with the best experience possible.
What you do with the information is really only limited by your imagination. It’s a perfect opportunity to immediately use personalization to increase your relationship with a new customer or even introduce additional products and services.
Here are a few ideas to get your creative thoughts rolling. You could:
- Create an ‘Order Confirmation’ page with specific purchased product info
- Create a targeted post-purchase ‘Upsell’ page
- Create a dynamic thank you page that updates based on information passed from the order process
- Build customer loyalty by referring to their name on the thank you page
- Backup the posted information to your own database
Having immediate access to the order information allows you to more seamlessly integrate your shopping cart into your website and allows you to increase your visitor’s customer experience on your site accelerating your online success at the same time!
