As the President of a multi-million dollar enterprise, you’d be right if you guessed there are a ton of things to be done around here – TOO many in fact. I’m sure you know the feeling of being somewhat overwhelmed at times. So, I’ve recently began to focus on ‘delegation and outsourcing’ as part of my own personal and business development. Then, while penning a chapter for the soon-to-be published Walking With The Wise Entrepreneur (look for it to be published this August) it struck me!

You can delegate and outsource internally. Many recognize the ability to outsource simple tasks to outside providers, like printing, shipping and product creation, and fulfillment. However, few take full advantage of what I call “Systematic Automation.” You can also outsource your internal, repetitive operations to automated systems. A perfect example is the use of autoresponders to automate many of your sales and marketing processes.

Review all of your business process and determine which ones you can completely automate and then see which parts of the others you can also partially automate.

How to Get Over Ten Thousand Opt-In Prospects for Your Business

When I first came up with the signature idea for the Online Marketing
Superstars book I decided that rather than wait for the book to be finished, I could create a mini-course using the interviews I had which included Marlon Sanders, Yanik Silver, Jay Levinson, Jimmy D. Brown and a few others.

Accomplishing this was surprisingly simple – I essentially chunked down the content into bite size nuggets and set up a series of emails through the sequential autoresponder module of the shopping cart. This only took my virtual assistant and I just a few hours.

How did I get 16,000 opt-ins?

To achieve the results I was looking for I carefully studied the marketers who were already getting kinds of results. Fortunately for me, most of them were in my book. Here are some of the most important things I learned:

  • Have a highly visible opt-in box with a crystal clear call to action
  • Create an irresistible offer that will separate you from your competitors
  • Learn copywriting techniques from the most profitable marketers
  • Make a win-win proposal with your joint-venture partners
  • Offer content that has immediate benefits to your audience
  • Use dozens of marketing strategies not just one or two
  • Be memorable and remarkable

The beauty of a mini-course is that you can continually update it with improved content
and new technologies. The subscribers of my e-course experience Camtasia videos, InstantFlash audio and video as well as lots of free PDF downloads. In fact, I
have updated this course so many times that I believe it is the #1 Multi-Media mini
course on the web.

How does this mini-course make me money?

1. When the book finally was finished, I had a built-in targeted audience ready to buy.

2. I created links to the Online Marketing Superstars affiliate programs for passive revenue

3. It positioned me as an expert which led to lots of individual coaching and consulting referrals

4. I was able to dramatically increase enrollment in my Product Factory, Guerrilla Marketing Coach and Online Marketing Superstars programs.

5. It gave me more influence with my JV partners by having a very large mailing list

In a previous issue of ShopTalk, Rob Bell talked about the Internet lifestyle. I am happy to say I am living it every day. Due to these automated strategies and passive income opportunities, I was able to move from Chicago to Scottsdale last year as a successful entrepreneur. Now my days consist of developing new products and programs as well as swimming in my pool, playing tennis, writing music and climbing mountains.

While I put in a lot of time learning about and setting up these automated systems, I believe the most important tool responsible for my success is my 1ShoppingCart system. It is the centerpiece of my virtual business.

Systems and Private Labels powered by 1ShoppingCart.com have Ad Tracker 'click' stats that are based on unique clickthroughs.

This means that we will only track one click per client regardless of how many times they actually click on the link. Most PPC systems will track total clicks, meaning that if someone goes back and clicks on your link multiple times they will track all of the multiple clicks and throw off your data.
