Your Online Sales Can Be SHUT DOWN If Your Provider Doesn’t Meet New Credit Card Industry Requirements
If your shopping
cart solution doesn't meet the new and very strict credit
card industry regulations for online safety and security
then your ability to sell online could be shut down
in the near future. Luckily, the clients of 1ShoppingCart
and its Private Label Network are in good hands ...
Your customers want their credit card information safe
and secure; they want to feel confident that when giving
you their credit card at the point of sale, over the
internet or on the telephone.
The protection of personal and financial data during the transaction process is critically important to your consumers and therefore to your business success.
This is why Visa USA created a private standard known as CISP, or the Cardholder Information Security Program. More recently, VISA and American Express, Diner's Club, Discover Card, JCB and MasterCard collaborated to create a new set of standards known as the PCI (Payment Card Industry) Data Security Standard.

The Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard outlines best practices for securing credit card data that is stored, processed or transmitted. All Merchants and Service Providers that handle, transmit, store or process information concerning any of these cards will soon be required to be compliant and certified.
1ShoppingCart Awarded PCI Data Security Standard Certification
1ShoppingCart.com is proud to announce
that on January 12, 2006 we completed our PCI Security
Standard Audit, received our PCI Data Security Standard
Compliance and our PCI Security Standard Certification
is pending a final review by VISA. This was after a
rigorous review by VISA, the submission of all required
documentation and passing all the necessary audits.
Over the past sixteen (16) months 1ShoppingCart.com has been researching, designing and implementing changes to our management processes, software applications and IT infrastructure (Servers, Storage, Network) to prepare. We specifically focused on exceeding the CISP/PCI security standards, compliance and certification. This included retaining the services of an industry leading third party Certificated Audit organization, specializing in CISP/PCI security compliance and certification to assist us in the process.
How Does PCI Data Security Standard Affect Our User Community?
