Combining an Affiliate link with a Product Link
If you have an affiliate who you would like to receive commissions on ALL sales of a particular product, you can add the affiliate parameter to the end of your existing product link. If you do, every sale of that product will be marked as having been referred by the specified affiliate.
The affiliate parameter is “ &afid=XXXXX ”, where X represents the ID of the affiliate you would like to give credit to.
Just take your existing product link and add the affiliate parameter to the end of it!
Example:
The end of your existing Product link should look similar to this:
…app/netcart.asp?MerchantID=#####&ProductID=#####
Once you add the affiliate parameter to the end of the link, it will look similar to this:
…app/netcart.asp?MerchantID=#####&ProductID=#####&afid=XXXXX
A product link that has had the affiliate parameter added to it, will give credit to the specified affiliate for every single sale made through it!
